Flying in to Phoenix?

We highly recommend Groome Shuttle. They do an excellent job and they charge roughly $45 per person. Phoenix to Prescott is about a two hour drive and it is beautiful. Another option is to hop on a connecting flight to the Prescott Airport (PRC is the airport code). United Airlines flies from Mesa Regional Airport to Prescott. United also flies direct from Denver and LA to Prescott every day. If you fly through those larger hubs, it makes getting to Prescott really easy. It is worth it to get ready for your trip in Prescott out of the heat of Phoenix and it much more mellow and pretty. If none of these options work for you, let us know and we might be able to pick you up for an extra fee if we are available.

While you are in Prescott, you may want to stay a few days. You will want to check out the trails in the Granite Mountain Wilderness Area, Thumb Butte wilderness area, The Dells, Watson Lake, Goldwater Lake, the museums, art galleries, coffee shops, yummy restaurants, and of course the historical downtown Whiskey Row. If you are here during the 4th of July, don’t miss out on seeing the World’s Oldest Rodeo!!

Prescott has things to see and do year round, which make it a wonderful destination no matter what your interests are.
